"Opportunities don't fall into your lap and lead you down the right path, you have to create the opportunities yourself"
These are the words my mother said to me when I was a teenager. It has inspired me in life and I in turn say the following to my own teenagers, and I live as I learn.
- Don't expect someone else to solve your problems, you should do it yourself.
Don't wait for the chance.
- Nothing happens if you do nothing.
- Empty barrels rattle the most.
- Say YES, life will be more fun then.
- Above all, choose a path and believe in it, that's when you will make a difference.
- Think for yourself but create with others.
Old clichés some may think, but still words that mean something if you do something with them. It is from these that I myself have created my path, my life. I have made many mistakes but also many rights. The road, or rather the roads, which have been many, have given me an interesting and damn fun life. To never sit still and really dare to do what I want to do, believe in or just have an idea about.
Take one small step forward every day and you will change your life a lot. Dare to try!
I believe in the power of people together. This is my strongest motivation to develop our great earth. An earth of awesome nature, amazing wildlife, endless exciting places, incredible and wonderful cultures, but above all a wealth of wonderful and driven people. All these people will need each other to develop your and my future place and opportunity on this earth.
I believe we need to work together physically to continue our interesting and exciting journey together. Working from home gives us the freedom to devote more time to ourselves and to our family and friends, and we should do that, but we also need to meet physically. The dynamics created in physical meetings will never be the same in an online meeting. I love online meetings because they are time efficient but they can never give me what a physical meeting gives me.
I believe that our shared workplaces will continue to be important in the future. We may not need all the office space we have today but we will need to meet, for our development it is important. We don't develop at home at the kitchen table to the same extent. I need you and you need me, live with that, and enjoy each other more. It will be much more fun then.
