Annual Chronicle - Saldo 2020
The heaviest year in our life story is over, thank you bye, now 2021 it's your turn to shine.
Are we going to travel again?
- Are we going to dare to go public again?
- Will we be working from a common workplace again?
Are we going to hug each other again?
The answer is YES to all this. Man has a huge need for closeness and an exchange of other people. That's when we really evolve, everything else is a lie. But greater freedom to choose one's workplace will be a given.
The word for 2021 is: Together - remember where you heard it first. 😉
We have fought, cried, laughed, tied our fists together with our clients 2020. We have sought all possible support for our clients , negotiated rents, payment terms, deferred taxes....but the most important work has been to listen and understand how the person(s) behind the company are doing and how the company can best balance its finances with the conditions that have been during the year with reduced turnovers, wiped out profits. This fight has been lovely and usually positive. Our clients has definitely lost profitability, turnover but amazingly, it has been manageable in the vast majority of cases. We have all done this together with our clients partners we work with. Well done simply. We intend to take this with us into the future, which is why the importance of the word together is so important.
Also on the Saldo we have fought, tied our fists and set ourselves goals. A lot of sweat and tears along with a lot of joy have made it possible to increase turnover while we have doubled the profit from 2019. We have chosen not to lay off a single minute, not to seek the support of any of the aid that has been available during the year. We have also been able to give a good bonus to everyone at Saldo . Something we are extremely proud of.
2020 has taught us what we need to do to Saldo an even greater force into the future and to give all our clients an even greater added value of our work. Let us come back with this in the golden year of 2021.

Mental height
This is something I can already mention. Running a business is rarely about money, it's about how you feel and behave towards other people. Therefore, we will work together with Carl Elfgren Nyström, this highly regarded former team captain for our dear Gais. Now he has chosen to leave Gais as he and his family wanted to move up to Stockholm, good for Saldo , less for Gais. Carl, or Calle fits better, will help us with our personal development and lift us to our own mental height. It is very much about the mental and daring to take steps forward for own development and then help our clients their own development. We are extremely happy that Calle wants to take us to our mental height. Will be cruelly exciting to see where this goes.
Why?
We have a belief in running companies together with others because that's when we develop the most and we all get a lot more fun on this journey. We believe in learning from others, but strongly believe in our inner what we ourselves desire to look like, act and develop. That is when, according to us you yourself become a strong shining star in the sky. We want to inspire, tease and disturb our surroundings, employees, clients , competitors and other industries to create something unique, good and rewarding for their clients that every person who is on this boat can be proud of.
We have a plan for 2021 and we can't wait to make that a reality.
